Put your 3D printing quote workflow on autopilot, from enquiry to instant quotes and production-ready quotes.

Automatically collect customer models and requirements, check and repair models, prepare them for the selected manufacturing process, and gather the production data needed by your pricing rules. Use cloud processing with your own production profiles and setup, or optionally connect your actual production environment. Apply your pricing rules to generate production-ready quotes. The supported workflow can run automatically from start to finish.

Your team can take over at any point. The same workflow has already prepared the model, customer requirements, software workspace and results, so you can spend your time and expertise on engineering and pricing decisions instead of downloading models or gathering information from different systems.

Run model checks, print preparation and quote calculation on autopilot, in the cloud or your actual production environment.

From the moment an enquiry arrives, bayesi downloads the right model and requirements, runs supported checks and repairs, prepares the model for the selected manufacturing process, gathers the inputs needed by your pricing rules, and calculates quotes. Cloud processing applies your own profiles and job-specific setup in a managed software environment to simulate your production conditions without waiting for an office computer. You can also connect your actual production environment. The model, manufacturing conditions, prepared files and calculated price stay linked throughout.

Your team can take over at any stage with this context already prepared.

  1. Collect customer models and quoting requirements

Bring website or email requests, models and customer requirements into the quoting workflow.

  2. Check models and prepare prints using your production profiles and setup

Run supported checks, repairs and slicing with your production profiles and setup in a managed cloud software environment, or connect your actual production environment.

  3. Gather the manufacturing data required to price the selected production plan

Gather supported software results and your configured cost inputs. The required inputs depend on your process, production plan and customer requirements. Keep the data, checks and prepared files linked to the model revision, quantity, layout and manufacturing conditions.

  4. Calculate quotes using your pricing rules

Automatically apply your rates, setup charges and commercial rules when the required parameters are available. Your bureau controls whether quotes are sent automatically or reviewed first.

See missing requirements or failed checks before a quote is sent. Missing inputs, failed engineering checks and software errors are reported with the affected model and manufacturing conditions.

Use your own profiles and setup for detailed cloud quotes, or run the same workflow in your actual production environment.

Both paths can check and repair models, prepare them for the selected manufacturing process and calculate detailed quotes from the required production data. Cloud quoting uses your own production profiles and setup, so you can start without connecting the software on your office computer.

Simulate your production environment in the cloud using your own profiles and setup

Bayesi applies your production profiles and job-specific setup in its managed software environment to simulate your production conditions. The cloud software or version may differ from the software used in your actual production environment. Quoting can run without waiting for an office computer.

Run quoting in your actual production environment

Connect the software running in your actual production environment. Quotes are calculated with the installed software, profiles and settings you use to manufacture parts. Processing depends on that computer and software being online and available.

Prepared files, software version, input settings and execution history stay linked to the quote.

Take over any step of the quoting process with the models, requirements and software workspace already prepared.

Run supported model checks, print preparation and pricing automatically, or choose to complete a step yourself. You can inspect a model, adjust supports, change production settings or work through a quote manually without rebuilding its context.

The same workflow delivers the correct model and customer requirements, prepares the software workspace and keeps prior checks and calculation results available. You spend your time on the choices that need your expertise, then let the automatic steps continue when you are ready.

Turn production results into a price with your rules.

Apply your own rates, setup charges and commercial rules when the required production data is ready. Keep the price linked to the model, manufacturing conditions and formula that produced it.

Pricing inputs depend on the process, production plan and customer requirements. They can include machine time, material consumption, batch layout and post-processing requirements. Combine supported software results with your configured labor, equipment and finishing costs, then apply your customer terms, minimum charges and lead-time rules. We confirm the supported inputs and required configuration for your workflow.

Define multiple pricing formulas, each with its own required inputs. A formula can calculate a price as soon as all of those inputs are available and applicable to the selected production plan. Use the same formula wherever those requirements are met, and reprice existing results without rerunning production software while they remain applicable. A calculated amount does not replace the required engineering checks. Your bureau controls quote approval and release.

FDM example pricing formulaprint_time × hourly_rate
+ (model_material + supports) × material_rate
+ setup_charge

Instant quoting can use your selected formula whenever its required inputs are available. Geometry such as model volume and surface area can support an initial estimate while other production inputs are being prepared. If all required production inputs are already available, the instant quote can use the same formula as a detailed production quote.

Manage enquiries, quotes and orders in bayesi's ready-to-use dashboard or in your own business system.

You can embed bayesi's quote form on your website with either option. Customers upload models, specify requirements and receive instant quotes using your pricing rules.

Both options use bayesi's automated model checks, production preparation and pricing. Choose where your team manages the customer, enquiry, quote and order records.

Use bayesi's quote management dashboard

Manage customer records, enquiries, models, production results, quotes and orders in bayesi. Follow each request from the customer's requirements through to the prepared production plan and quoted price.

Track progress, view prepared models and prices, and send quotes from one dashboard. Your team can take over a supported step with the context already prepared. No existing ERP or development team is required.

Add bayesi's automated quoting to your own business system

Keep your customer, enquiry, quote and order records in your own system. Connect bayesi's model checking, production preparation and price calculation to those records, so your team can see progress, prepared models, production results and prices in the system it already uses.

Bayesi provides and maintains the supported integration, so your team does not need to build it or copy customer and enquiry details into a separate system. Tell us which business system you use so we can confirm the connection and quoting steps with you.

Discuss quoting in Odoo

About your quoting workflow.

Who is this for?

Salespeople and teams at 3D printing service bureaus who handle customer enquiries, prepare manufacturing plans and send quotes. Enquiries can arrive through a website, by email or through your sales team.

Can the whole quoting workflow run automatically?

Yes. Within the supported scope, bayesi can automatically collect models and customer requirements, check and repair models, prepare them for the selected manufacturing process, gather required pricing inputs and calculate quotes. Both cloud processing and an optional connection to your production environment can complete the workflow. Your bureau controls whether quotes are sent automatically or require approval first.

Can our team take over and complete steps manually?

Yes. Your team can take over at any point and perform the selected steps manually. The model, customer requirements, software workspace and existing results are already prepared, so you do not need to download models or collect requirements from other systems. The same automation continues to support your changes and subsequent checks, preparation and pricing.

What makes a quote production-ready?

A production-ready quote is based on a model and manufacturing setup that have been checked and prepared for how you will produce the part. Bayesi can do this in a cloud environment that simulates your production setup using your own profiles and settings, or directly in your actual production environment. The price uses the required data from that prepared production plan, together with your cost inputs and pricing rules.

Can we use our own pricing formulas?

Yes. Define multiple formulas, each with its own required pricing inputs. Depending on your process and production plan, those inputs can include machine time, material consumption, batch layout, post-processing requirements and configured costs. A selected formula can calculate a price once all required inputs are available and applicable. Customer terms, minimum charges and lead-time rules can also be part of your pricing policy.

Do we have to connect our own production software?

No. Bayesi runs detailed cloud quoting using your own production profiles and setup in a managed software environment. This simulates your production conditions; the software or version may differ from your actual production environment. Connecting your office software runs the same workflow in your actual production environment, when that computer and software are available. Both routes can produce production-ready quotes within their supported scope.

Which printing processes and software can we use?

Support depends on the printing process, software versions, profiles, tasks and pricing inputs required for your workflow. We will confirm which model checks, preparation steps and data sources can be supported with you.

Do we need an existing business system or our own developers?

No. Use bayesi's ready-to-use quote management dashboard, or keep your business records in your own system and connect bayesi's model checking, production preparation and pricing to it. The same website quote form is available with either option. We provide and maintain the supported integration, and confirm the connection and quoting steps with you. You do not need your own development team to build the integration.

What happens if information is missing or a check fails?

Missing required inputs or a software error stops the affected operation. A failed check is reported with the model and manufacturing conditions it affects. The enquiry, prepared context and diagnostic details remain available. A quote is ready to send only when its required engineering, pricing and release conditions are satisfied.

What happens after I join?

We can email you about product updates. If you separately choose to discuss your workflow, we may follow up about your software, preparation work and pricing rules. You do not need to book a call or upload a model.
